The water aid  advert camera shot ,the camera shot is medium close up its shows how the child is wearing from top i think they use it to make the audience look at the child more then the background setting in the farm , also the advert's slogan says ' dig toilets not graves ' what means that the children are  dying and the people are digging graves and not making any solution for stop making the children die , and also they need toilets and they  don't  have any so that what the mean in the sentence ' dig toilets not graves . 

i think they choose a medium  close up shot to make  sure the audience haves seen how the child is wearing a old cloths and to show his face expression .

Charities uses picture of children in their advertising because charities to be able to help these children  they have to show people how bad the children are living and how hey still so young for this
